BCA has been supporting the
information technology needs of the
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC) for over eleven years. BCA’s CDC
efforts comprise a wide range of
information technology services including;
Systems/software

and Certification and Accreditation (C&A).
BCA’s supports seven CDC
agencies; including the National Center
for Infectious Diseases (NCID), the
National Center for Chronic Disease
Prevention and Health Promotion (NCCDPHP,
the National Center for HIV, Sexually
Transmitted Diseases and TB Prevention (NCHSTP),
the National Immunization Program (NIP),
the National Center for Environmental
Health, the Office of Global Health and
the National Center for Public Health
Informatics (NCPHI). For these agencies,
BCA performs software development life
cycle management, systems integration,
Local Area Network (LAN) administration,
database development, infrastructure
support, help desk operations, network
management and operations, hardware
maintenance and desktop support, and
security and information assurance work.
BCA’s work under the
Northrop Grumman Center for Disease
Control and Prevention Information
Technology Services program (CITS)
demonstrates the ability of BCA to execute
mission-critical projects for HHS in a
multi-vendor environment involving complex
solutions and state-of-the-art
technologies, attending to numerous
National priorities and working within the
parameters of HIPAA and other Federal
healthcare regulations.
MHS/TMA Technology
Management, Integration, & Standards (TMI&S)
IA C&A South Region
Falls Church, VA
BCA is supporting the DOD
Military Health System (MHS) TRICARE
Management Activity (TMA) by providing
security management, technical support and
DoD C&A services for the TriCare
Contractors’ Information Systems in the
TriCare South Region.
This contract awarded in
September 2005 supports the MHS/TMA
Technology Management, Integration, and
Standards (TMI&S) Information Assurance
Office as it serves as the focal point for
information security and establishes
policies, standards, guidelines and
procedures for integration,
interoperability, and data sharing across
the MHS.
The BCA Team provides a
staff of highly qualified IA Engineers and
Security Professionals with extensive
experience supporting the DoD Information
Technology Security Certification and
Accreditation Process (DITSCAP)
Some of the other
information assurance /security services
provided by BCA include: Vulnerability
Assessments, Risk Assessments, Security
Awareness and Training, Business
Continuity and Disaster Recovery, Security
System Development Life Cycle Management,
etc.
