The Authorization module supplies providers with the speedy and accurate authorizations they require to properly service their patients.  The MCMIS validation feature also makes sure that services requested are valid for those providers.  The MCMIS also automatically checks services against patient’s benefits packages.  With On-Line Authorization the MCMIS provides an effective method for the Managed Care Organization to monitor outside services performed for their members.  This assures the treatments are both customary and reasonable.
