Prescription Tracking           

 

 

The CMS Prescription Tracking Module provides BCA customers with reliable and effective ways to enter, maintain, purge, report, and list patient prescriptions.  This system provides the necessary tools to support everyday process of writing and filling prescriptions as easily as possible. Overtime it maintains a complete history of patient medications, allowing providers and administrators instant access to the information needed to make informed decisions, provide quality customer service and manage the risk associated with abuse.

 The CMS Prescription Tracking Module is a valuable tool that allows BCA customers to access patient medication information by a number of different criteria, including name, medical record number, social security number and date of birth. The Reporting section of this system allows users to print prescription information in a variety of formats and with numerous selection criteria to restrict the information being reported.

The system’s database support section offers many useful options as well.  BCA customers can enter and maintain all of the information contained in the database support tables, making this system a truly “user defined” system.  They have the full authority to manage the content of the data in these tables including the ability to display, print or purge their content.
